Soup Kitchen Volunteers Needed!

Our Soup Kitchen has many fun and meaningful volunteer opportunities, and we need help as many as six days every week!

Volunteers don’t necessarily have the time, they have the heart

Come help us serve the most nutritious meals to our community! Our guests are served breakfast, lunch and a sandwich to-go, Monday – Saturday. Help us prep food, make sandwiches, serve food, wash dishes and make someone’s day! (it will probably end up being YOURS!)

Shifts are breakfast 8am-11am. Lunch 11am-2pm, or join us for the day, 8am-2pm. After you enroll, you can go to our calendar and pick your days and times. Come once or join us often!

Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes. Hairnets are provided or wear your own cap. Short hair and long hair pulled back is fine. We provide you with aprons and food handling gloves. You are also welcome to enjoy a meal here.

Amazing Grace Food Pantry Volunteers Needed!

Now serving more than 1000 Families Every Month!

Amazing Grace has several ways you can contribute your time and have a positive impact. By volunteering with Amazing Grace, you are joining a group of over 200 dedicated individuals each year who make a difference in our community!  It takes as many as 25 volunteers each day to manage deliveries, stock shelves, assist shoppers and register new guests.  We also connect our food pantry guests to additional resources to get additional help and services.

There are a number of ways you can choose to support us through these volunteer opportunities:

Food Distribution:

Volunteers help clients shop, help distribute food at one of the stations on the food line, restock shelves and tables with food, help push client carts to their cars and assist with pantry clean-up.

Warehouse:

Volunteers help with the intake of donations, weighing items, and filling out the donation receipt.  They also help stock the warehouse by checking expiration dates and shelving the inventory.

Help is needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 10:30 AM and 4:00 PM.  Volunteers can commit to any amount of hours on either of those days.

Volunteers Under the Age of 16

Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a chaperone who is at least 21 years old.  Some exceptions to the minimum age requirement may be discussed based on the individual circumstances.
